- Recently I purchased Borland Turbo C++ 4.5 for Windows. It comes
- with online documentation. The documentation must be read through
- Adobe Acrobat 2.0 for Windows. I have a 386, and reading it on-screen
- is very annoying. Next, I tried to print the documentation through my
- Panasonic KX-P1124i printer. I use the Panasonic KX-P1124 driver. The
- documents never printed. The printing message Acrobat displayed simply
- disappeared without an error message. Everything else in Windows prints
- fine and I checked the print settings. It is 50 dollars for printed
- documentation. First, does anyone know how to fix my problem? Second,
- does anyone have the documentation in text file format, that would be
- easier to print anyway?
-
- Third, I am sick of companies using online documentation with no
- hardcopy. I don't mind it in games, but in expensive productivity
- packages it's not right. I don't like reading books on-screen
- especially, when each one is 300 pages long. Also, I would prefer a
- text file opposed to their slow and annoying reader. Finally, a
- hardcopy version for free shoudld be available.
